The Process

Here's how a typical project unfolds from first contact to launch.

  1. Discovery

    We talk about your business, your goals, your audience, and any technical requirements. I want to understand what you're trying to accomplish before proposing anything.

  2. Proposal

    I'll put together a written proposal outlining scope, timeline, and a fixed price. No surprises. If the scope changes mid-project, we discuss it before any additional work begins.

  3. Design

    Before a line of code is written, I'll present mockups for your approval. This is where we nail down the look and feel so the build phase has a clear target.

  4. Build

    Development. I'll keep you updated on progress and flag anything that needs your input along the way.

  5. Review & Revisions

    Every package includes two rounds of revisions. Additional rounds are billed at the standard hourly rate.

  6. Launch

    Once you sign off, we go live — I handle deployment whether you're hosting with me or on a provider of your choosing. Everything then transfers to you: code, assets, all of it. If you ever want to take the site elsewhere or hand it to another developer, there are no strings attached.
